SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed concerning the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie status sassa and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The services stage produced for intervention experiences a high inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for your Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to allow the servicing of all customers and maximize entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
